GATEWAY OF TALLY

         The Gateway of tally screen is separated into four sections – Title Area, Main Area (Ctrl+M), Calculator Area (Ctrl+N) and the Button bar.

         Title Area contains the title ‘Tally’, version details, date, time, product type details, company name etc.,

            Main Area (Gate way of Tally) is split into two parts that left hand side and right hand side. Left hand side area provides information about current period, current date ad list of companies selected. Right hand side area provides company Info menu. Calculator area is used to do calculator functions. Any type of independent calculation can be done using calculator to get quick answers.

            And Button bar area is designed to make the work easier and faster. These buttons vary from one screen to another based on the screen functionality.

            The following functional keys can be Used at Gate way of Tally Screen.

F1 - Select Company

F1 - Shut Company

F2 - Change Current Date

F2 - Change Accounting Period

F3 - Change Present working Company

F3 - Go back to Company Info Menu

F11 - Company Features

            F1 - Accounting Features

            F2 - Inventory Features

            F3 - Statutory Features

F12 - Configure
